Having built an expensive warehouse, the last thing you need is damage to the structure. Walls and expensive cladding need to be protected from fork lift trucks and other pallet movers, with special consideration also needed for potential fork penetration of any barrier.

Light Duty

The following are best used when defending against lighter weight pallet movers at low speeds. Feet can be turned either way to suit (please advise when ordering).

Mini Warehouse Buffa

Galvanised steel protectors bolted to the floor provide solid, immoveable protection to rack feet from trolleys, pallet trucks and fork lift trucks.

Mini Warehouse Buffa Plus

Available in single or double height (for extra protection), this 610mm high system gives protection from glancing blows at low speeds using the smaller profile Warehouse Rail.

Rubber Buffas

A range of suitable rubber profiles are also available for various uses as follows

WallGuard – Made from EPDM rubber, the WallGuard is mounted to almost any surface to provide protection from scrapes and knocks. It protects the building as well as the vehicle.

WallCushion – A ‘D’ section EPDM Rubber Buffa made of a compressible, hollow section to absorb impacts. The WallCushion comes in 3m lengths and can be floor or wall mounted to suit almost any internal application.

Heavy Duty

These systems are designed for heavier frequent impact internally from either a glancing or a head-on blow at low speeds. There are 3 categories - Rigid Solutions, Flexible Solutions and Flexi-Post (Semi-Rigid)

Interior Rigid Berry Barrier

610mm or 760mm high as standard, this rigid system is designed to absorb less severe impact on a regular basis. On impact, the loading is transferred through the fixing bolts to the concrete floor. These are available in a bolt down or cast-in version.

Warehouse Buffa

By mounting the barrier rail at ground level, forks cannot slide beneath the barrier. Ideal where raised forks are not a problem.

 

Spring Steel Buffa

A Berry Barrier Rail mounted on full size (610mm) Spring Steel Posts uses the unique properties of the material that allows impact to be absorbed and reduces the pullout forces on the anchor bolts.

 

Spring Steel Buffa Plus

The impact is absorbed and the two interlocking lengths of barrier provide a solid protector to prevent the forks penetrating the cladding and walls.

 

Flexi-Post and Berry Barrier

The Flexi-Post and Berry Barrier system is uniquely engineered to be able to withstand regular heavy impact of up to 10 tonnes. This is achieved through the rubber shock absorbers positioned within the post socket. This offers a perfect solution to prevent damage when using conventional barrier rail.
