Machine Fencing

Most machines need to be cordoned off to keep unauthorized personnel from entering the vicinity. A fencing system of some description is the most common way of sorting this problem. The options here all meet the loading requirements of BS6180.

De-Fence

Removable De-Fence is a modular pedestrian control system that can be extended, modified or removed and replaced at any time. The system consists of three principal components:

» Quick release posts.
» Plug-in panels which are available with an infill of either 12mm solid vertical bars or 25 by 50mm mesh. Both panel types come in three standard lengths 1m, 1.5m or 2m.
» Gates are available in 1m or 2m openings.

Please note, gate posts are not included. De-Fence requires no specialist installation. Once installed it can be easily removed and replaced in minutes using no more than a socket wrench.

Spring Steel Buffa Plus with Handrail

Using the unique properties of spring steel that allow impact to be absorbed, Berry Systems inverted design offers a perfect solution to prevent forks from penetrating the barrier. The impact is absorbed and the two sections of barrier inverted to interlock and provide a solid protection to prevent the forks entering the machine area. The handrail provides pedestrian protection.

M.A.S.S.

The M.A.S.S. system does two jobs. Firstly it is a handrail system but it also uses the curved M.A.S.S. section to change the course of any traffic which may come near the segregated areas and veer it back towards the correct route. It cleverly uses the weight of the vehicle to stop the system from moving when a wheel mounts the curved section. This is available in high visibility red and white hazard colours in any sizes required. It is simple to install and easy to move.
